Home Sweet Home is the tenth episode of season four of "The Garfield Show" released on Mon Aug 22, 2016. The Garfield Show stars Frank Welker as Garfield, Gregg Berger as Odie and Wally Wingert as Jon Arbuckle. A pussycat lives in a middle town where Jon Arbuckle lives. Garfield goes on adventure and explores the difference of good and bad.
The show involves contestants being locked into a house, where they are forced to last as long as possible. Much to Whipple's surprise, the show became extremely popular, which was, as he claims, because people like to watch others argue. While watching the finale of one of the experiments, Whipple approaches Jon Arbuckle, Garfield and Odie, and ask them to be on his show. The three accept and claim that they will be the first family to last the duration of the week.
Episode emotions
He changes the channel, flips the lights on and off, and makes ghostly howling before appearing in front of Swindler, who is soon scared off. After some more spooking, Swindler finally begs Jon to buy back the house, and is even willing to return all the money he previously got from Jon as well. Garfield, Odie, and Jon then notice the roof leaking . Swindler appears yet again, this time as a roof repairman, who offers to fix the mysteriously leaking roof "for a price". Jon then pays Swindler for his work , then finds himself locked out of the house. When he rings the doorbell, its sound is that of a rooster.
With Swindler gone, Jon figures that they have seen the last of him. Swindler returns as a ghost catcher, offering his services once again to the Arbuckle household. Swindler then states that it is hard to make a honest buck these days.

After Whipple finds out, he realizes that he will have to spend a whole week with the guests, due to the locking mechanism only opening in that time. Meanwhile, Jon decides to take Liz, Garfield and Odie on holiday, where the two pets watch Whipple struggling to cope with the people around him. Being filmed by a camera crew, Jon Arbuckle, Liz Wilson and Vito Cappelletti all explain the concept of Dr. Whipple's television series.
Home Sweet Swindler
Whipple realizes that if they can resist Aunt Ivy, they may have enough stamina to last the week. To combat this, he introduces a whole array of other characters, which proves too much for Jon and his pets. Jon requests that Whipple remove everyone from the house, and when Whipple enters the house, Garfield locks him in.

For his television competition, Dr. Whipple has Jon Arbuckle, Garfield and Odie try to last one week locked in their house. Whipple eventually adds guests into the house, making the task harder.
